U-Line Ice Maker Information
U-Line Company Background
U-Line is a manufacturer of a large number of models of undercounter appliances. Their undercounter ice makers, refrigerators, freezers, and wine storage units, are widely popular, and have become mainstays in both the commercial and residential kitchen. U-Line has a stellar reputation for providing some of the best residential undercounter ice makers around - perfect for any kitchen. Many of U-Line's combo models extend their reach far beyond the kitchen, as well. Combo models, like the refrigerator-freezer, the beverage center, the wine captain, and refrigerated drawers, are a great fit almost anywhere, including the kitchen, the office, and also in hotel and stadium suites. Some are also approved for outdoor use, while others are suited for marine and RV applications.
Most U-Line ice makers do not require a drain for waste water either. Since there is no drain required for these models, they can be installed easily and with little expense to the owner, as a plumber is not required. These units can be fit almost anywhere, provided you can still hook up a water line with a 1/4 inch outside diameter connection.
U-Line is one of the few producers of ice makers and refrigeration units that are ADA compliant as well. These units conform to the standards set forth by the Americans with Disabilities Act that was passed in 1990. Many U-Line products are Energy Star qualified too, and will operate without excessive use of water or electricity. There is bound to be an energy efficient U-Line ice machine, wine storage unit, refrigerator or freezer that is perfect for your environment. U-Line's 3000 Series contains some of the most popular U-Line appliances, with a great selection of Energy Star qualified beverage centers, wine captains, and refrigerators.

U-Line Goes With You, By Land or By Sea
A few years ago, I took the time to help a friend move across the United States, from New England to Los Angeles, on what will forever be one of the most memorable trips of my life. We took time off from work in August and loaded her old Jeep for the trip. While we drove relatively problem-free for most of the trip, we ran into some issues after Oklahoma, when the temperatures found their way into the triple digits day after day, and the air conditioning refused to cooperate. Stops became more frequent so we could resupply ourselves with cold beverages and ice for our coolers. This became an annoyance quickly, and we were thankful when we finally reached our destination.
While there will inevitably be inconveniences and problems on any extended road trip, other amenities need not be sacrificed, and can be avoided with one of U-Line's RV and Marine ice makers and refrigerators. If you're going to be travelling in a vehicle or vessel with an electrical outlet, it makes little sense not to have a means of ice making and refrigeration on board. U-Line's ice makers and combination ice maker and refrigerators will make your travel life easier, and keep stops to an absolute minimum. We've all had those days on the boat where our beverages could use a little extra ice, or left our water bottle in direct sunlight on the passenger seat of the RV, rendering it undrinkable. With U-Line's ice makers and refrigerators, these inconveniences will no longer become a burden.
U-Line has made their name by providing sleek, stylish undercounter appliances. Their 3000 Series provides some of the most elegant, yet functional undercounter appliances – from refrigerators and ice makers to wine captains and combo units. Now, with their RV and Marine models, you can take all the conveniences provided by U-Line's units on the road or on the water- wherever your day takes you. The marine and RV units offered by U-Line measure no more than 21 inches wide, and many are ADA qualified as well, meeting the height requirements set by the American's with Disabilities Act.
U-Line's undercounter units are available in a variety of styles as well. Many of their models are outfitted with a black or white vinyl exterior, while others are available with a stainless steel exterior. For added convenience, most U-Line units do not require any clearance on the side, top, or rear to operate effectively. Air is taken in and released from the front, so no additional clearance is required around the machine. The ice makers from U-Line are also efficient, requiring only three gallons of water to create 25 pounds of ice. These units use little in the way of electricity too, requiring only a simple 110V or 220V electrical hookup. Best off, most of U-Line's RV and Marine ice makers do not require an additional drain to operate. They simply need an outside water line to create ice effectively.
If your summer will be comprised of road trips and boat days, consider making a U-Line Marine and RV ice maker or refrigerator a part of it. The time to act is now however, not when your air conditioner breaks down in the middle of the desert, or when you're sunning yourself on the deck in the middle of July. These added conveniences will make a world of a difference in your leisure time, and are some of the highest quality units available from U-Line to date. Consider one for your boat or RV today.
